Inspired by the artwork, ideas and artists featured in the series, many educators have created innovative lesson plans and projects that allow students to explore contemporary art in classrooms, after-school programs, and community-based organizations. These projects use the
Art in the Twenty-First Century television series as a starting point to investigate a variety of media to address issues such as advertising, identity, scale, and place.
